The U.S. industrial market shattered records in 2021 and closed the year with record gains in occupancy, rental rates and construction activity. Core markets across the country have thrived during this time, building and absorbing millions of square feet of industrial real estate. 2022 looks to be another strong year, with demand and construction activity at all-time highs. A cooling off period is expected, however significant opportunities remain for both investors and occupiers of industrial space.
